Beef Mini Dim Sim

The original Beef Mini Dim Sim or small 'shao mai', made from an authentic Chinese recipe of thin pastry with vegetable and beef fillings.

Ideal as finger food, snack or appetiser.

Versatile in re-heating, can be steamed, microwave, convention oven, deep or shallow fried, also suitable for boiling and in soups.

60 pieces per 1kg pack.

Ingredients

Cabbage (31%), Beef (25%), Wheat Flour, Wheat Starch, Water, Potato Starch, Soya Sauce, Sugar, Onion, Flavour Enhancer (621), Salt, Sesame Oil, Gluten, Pepper.

Usage & Storage

Store at or below minus 18 degrees centigrade. Do not re-freeze after thawing.

Cooking Information

Oven, fryer and freezer temperatures may vary. This can ultimately affect the overall heating time. Please observe visually and adjust heating time according to your requirements.
Steaming – Steam frozen products over rapidly boiling water for 10-15 minutes.
Oven – Pre heat oven to 200°C. Place frozen products onto a suitable ovenproof dish. Heat for 15-17 minutes.
Microwave – Microwave ovens vary in the rate of heating. Place frozen products onto a shallow plate. Cover the dish with polyethylene food wrap. Heat on high power.
Frying – Defrost frozen products at room temperature for 1 hour. Heat the oil to 190°C. Fry products for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Remove products, place on absorbent material and stand for 2 minutes before serving.
Boiling – Place frozen products in a pan of cold water. Heat until water boils. Simmer on low heat for 3-4 minutes. Drain water and serve.
