Our History
Welcome to the Makmur Family.
The company was first founded by Mr. Makmur, the great great grandfather of current Director Kevin Tjangdjaja. Mr. Makmur first established his business with one goal in mind: to provide quality Asian foods to everyday Australians. Because of this, quality is at the core of everything produced.
When the family first started at Makmur, every product was hand folded by many of the relatives - aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews were all involved in the organisation. As the company grew with SQF Accreditation, it has expanded in capability, supplying many Indonesian and fusion brands to local supermarkets right here in Australia.

“On behalf of my family i hope the meals we share to you transport you to the exciting flavours of the world. my grandmother elly is still creating new and exciting recipes, sourcing australian produce and checking the quality of our products. i am fortunate to still have my grandma’s dinners each night, and its my hope that our family can share some of these fantastic meals with you.”
